Roy T 1201 20×16” Roy T. Fortner, brother-in-law from North Carolina. We met Roy at the airport and had lunch with him at Don’s house.

Grandpa’s Pump 1202 15×30” Samuel Sylvester Bretz, I got my middle name from him. He started farming in the 1890’s just south of Lucas Kansas. This is the pump he used back then.

Francis 1203 18×14” An African Spurred Tortoise on safari in Lindsey’s back yard.

Little Red Haired Girl 1204 20×16” Karin, Jon and I were having lunch at the Egg Crate Cafe and this delightful little girl was at the next table.

Squall Line 1205 24×18” Jon and I were at the UPS store at 21st and Tyler finishing the shipment of paintings to Fairfax when this squall line passed over with lots of rain and hail. With Jon on the camera, we followed the storm north on Tyler Road

Judd’s Rubarb 1206 15×20” Judy and I stayed at the Simmons in Fairfax for the opening of the Toby’s Art Gallery exhibit. I couldn’t resist the rubarb Judd had growing in his backyard garden.

Chimney Rock from Drakes’s Beach 1207 15×30” Monday after Toby’s opening, Judy, Maryssa, Cody and I took some time off and went to Drake’s Beach sightseeing and picture taking. Cyndie had to work.

Scooter 1208 18×14” This lively pug lives with LeeAnn and Charles Casey. Jon and I were at Casey’s 90th birthday celebration and Jon took a bunch of picture. Scooter had her eyes on the festivities. Especially the cake.
